TEST - 2026 Midlands Nautique Wake Open

Entry Eligibility Rules

Entry to the 2026 UK Wake Open is ONLY open to the following athletes:

1. UK Nationals

Athletes who are legally recognised as British citizens.

2. Dual Nationals

Athletes who hold citizenship in two countries, one of which must be the United Kingdom, and who have not represented their non‑UK nationality in competition within the last 12 months.

Contact Wakeboard UK to discuss if you are a dual national and require further clarification.

10. Select Practice Time Slot

If you did not select practice, you have now completed registration, no further steps required.

11. Save Practice

You are now registered and your practice slot is booked

COMPETITION FEES

Entry Fees

Groms (12 years old and under), Girls and Boys (14 years old and under) - £45

All other categories - £55

Late Fees

Any entries received after 23:59 on 22nd May will incur an additional £10 admin fee, this will be payable upon registration.

Non Payment ruling

Payment MUST be made via Paypal link upon registration or within 14 days of registration.

Any Athletes that do not pay within 14 days will have their registration revoked and will be required to register again.

If an Athlete registers twice and fails to pay on both occasions within each 14 day ruling, they will no longer be eligible to enter the event.

Licence

1 x BWSW Annual Competition Licence

Can be found on the BWSW website and can only be obtained if you are a BWSW member.

Wakeboard Event Entry Notes

* Only 1 Practice slot per person. Practice slots can be selected within the registration process
* We will operate late entry fees as detailed above

Wakeboard Event Divisions

Novice (Grass Roots)

We encourage Grass roots riders to get involved with our events and the Wake Open is the Perfect opportunity to get into competitive Wakeboarding.

If you are interested in entering but feel that you may not be at the level to compete in our ranked divisions then please reach out to us. Contact jay@wakeboard.co.uk and we can discuss your riding ability and if we can get enough interest we will open a division for you.

Please note: To open a division we need a minimum of 3 riders.

Approximate Schedule

The following times are approximate and subject to change.
We recommend you are onsite 1 hour before your scheduled time in case the schedule is adjusted on the day.

• Friday 19th June - Unofficial Practice - 08:30 - 18:00

  Saturday 20th June - Finals

  Please Note: If more than 6 riders in a division, qualifying & Last Chance Qualifiers may be required on the same day.

  Team Showdown

  Team event will return for 2026 - More details to be announced once registration closes

  Larissa Foundation

  Larissa Fellows - 2024 UK Nationals Groms Girls Champion passed away suddenly in August of the same year. As per last years event we will be fund raising in aid of the Larissa Foundation. We had some fantastic goodies on offer last year, one of them being a signed Wakeboard by none other than the Triple Flip King himself - Thomas Herman. A fantastic cause and again we will have lots on offer.

  Larissa Memorial Award

  Last year we saw Freddie Sewell receive the 1st memorial award in memory of Larissa.

  Larissa's parents will select another young rider to receive the award for 2026. It could be YOU!

  DOUBLE UP EVENT

  We aim to hold a DOUBLE UP Comp at the end of the competition this year.

  2 hits at the DOUBLE UP and a Maximum of 10 riders.

  £10 buy in - Winner takes all.

  The DOUBLE UP event will only run if time allows.
